West Maintenance Services Gender Inclusivity Project

West Maintenance Services was awarded a unique project aimed at enhancing gender inclusivity in rail facilities. The project involved the transformation of a previous segregated shower and toilet area to create a space that catered to all users.

The dedicated team at West Maintenance Services began by removing old services and demolishing the separating wall to lay the groundwork for the transformation. Two new shower cubicles, a changing cubicle, and three WCs were installed to ensure the facility could accommodate all individuals.

Professional painting and the installation of gloss white brick tiles not only added aesthetic appeal but also ensured durability and easy maintenance for long-term use. The use of @altro_limited Walkway Safety Flooring, known for its easy installation and suitability for high-traffic areas, further enhanced the functionality of the space.
